


Wen Shugang met with Klaus Schwab, Founder and Executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum
On June 24, Wen Shugang, Co-Chairman of the 15th Annual Meeting of New Leaders of the World Economic Forum (Summer Davos) and Chairman of China Huaneng Group Co., Ltd., held talks with Klaus Schwab, Founder and Executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum.
Wen Shugang highly appreciated the achievements of the forum in strengthening global economic cooperation, addressing global challenges, and promoting social development since its establishment 53 years ago, and briefly introduced the relevant situation of Huaneng. He stated that since becoming a forum partner in 2018, Huaneng has actively participated in a series of work such as the forum's annual meeting, energy community, white paper, policy recommendations, and has been an exclusive green power supplier continuously last year and this year, helping Davos achieve 100% green power supply in the summer. This summer, Davos will also release practical cases in the field of Huaneng's green power in the "Industrial Clean Power Initiative" special report. Huaneng is willing to continue deepening exchanges and cooperation with the forum, and wishes this annual conference become a complete success.
